A new method of determination of micro iron was established By preconcentration with micro filtermembranes the complex of Fe- a, a -bipyridine -SDBS and the membrane are dissolved in DMSO and the iron isdetermined by spectrophotometric determination of absorbance of the organic system its maximum absorption isobserved at 530um with the apparent molar absorptivity being 1 .
