A new structure of the bed and its foundation for a new-type guideway grinder (self-collimation guideway grinder) to eliminate effects of environmental temperature fluctuations on machining precision was narrated, and comparison analysis of thermal characteristics was conducted to the bed and foundation'entia of the self-collimation guideway grinder and universal guideway grinder.
