大峪第二小学建于1954年,是一所具有63年文化底蕴的老校，学校一直在继承中发展，在发展中不断创新。目前，学校有小学和附属幼儿园两个校址，小学现有学生1502名，附属幼儿园学生204名。学校现有教职工141名，其中市级骨干教师8人、区级骨干教师23人。如今学校在“世事洞明、实时精进”核心价值观的引领下，逐步以智慧阅读为主线，夯实基础，凝聚智慧，促进发展。努力打造智慧校园、绿色校园，培养有修养，受人尊敬的二小人，初步形成了智慧教育办学特色。
